I’ve been enjoying making some small, simple patterns recently and I just had to give Jigglypuff a try! Jigglypuff has to be one of my favourite Pokemon, and I love that they float away on windy days in Pokemon Scarlet/Violet. If you enjoy this pattern, consider following my Twitter and Instagram where I’m always making lots of new crochet friends!
If you’d like to purchase the ad-free PDF version of this pattern that contains more pictures, and support me and my work, please visit my Etsy here!

Also feel free to take a look at the YouTube video tutorial I made for this pattern! It covers how to make this little guy from start to finish. Click here to watch!

Make a slipknot onto your hook, then insert your hook into the st holes on either side of rnd 3, and sl st to join in. Ch 3, and sl st again through the same location before fastening off and weaving in ends. Repeat on the left and right side for both ears – they should be about 6 sts apart across the front of the head.

Head Fluff (make one)
Using pink

Make a slipknot onto your hook, then insert your hook into the st holes between rnd 1-2 right in the middle of the forehead, about 2-3 sts inwards from the ears. Sl st to join then ch 6, and starting in the 2nd ch from hook: sl st 2, sc 2, hdc. Fasten off and use your loose end to sew the fluff piece down into the shape of a ‘C’. It helps to pin it in place first to get the shape before sewing!

Jigglpuff Crochet Pattern Face Details

I used needle felting for my face – this is a great beginner’s project for needle felting so if you’d like to give it a go, make sure to check out my YouTube tutorial here to get started and learn the basics! You can also use embroidery, felt pieces or safety eyes – whatever your preferred method is. My eyes are located between rnds 4-5, about 3 sts apart. The smile is on rnd 5, less than 1 st inwards from the eyes. Feel free to use the diagrams below as reference to get your placement perfect!
